Mad Men

If you've been keeping up, you already know that AMC's Mad Men is nominated for 16 Emmys and returned for a second season last night. Mad Men is about a high powered advertising agency on Manhattan's Madison Avenue during the changing times of the early 60's. Season two begins set in Valentine's Day 1961. The filming of Mad Men is truly masterful and artistic. Everything from the cars to the clothes to the people really makes you believe you are back in time. Some actors are so transformed into their 1960's persona that you only later realize that they are someone you recognize from another TV show or movie. Mad Men may not contain quite the excitement of a murder mystery or crime drama, but the character development is done so well that we are interested in what will happen next. All of that makes Mad Men something worth checking out. Mad Men is all-new every Sunday at 10/9c on AMC.

What's On?
Tonight at 11/10c, either Matt or Jen will win $250,000 and their own show on HGTV's Design Star, hosted by Clive Pearse. In tonight's finale, Matt and Jen will help families in need by restoring, decorating, and designing interiors for homes wrecked by Hurricane Katrina.

P.S. Tony's all-new, and he's going to prove that Uruguay is more than just the butt of Homer Simpson's jokes tonight at 10/9c on the Travel Channel.
